Designed to increase trail and combat competitor activity, the ’love me or get your money back’ promotion offered purchasers their money back, should they not love the product. In addition to an on pack sticker and POS instore, the offer was supported by national press adverts, food bloggers, Netmums and adverts on the reverse of ATM receipts.
To claim, the purchaser was required to make their application via post to the promotional postal address. Their application had to include their name and address details, the on pack sticker, their original purchase receipt and a minimum 15 word statement as to why they didn’t love the product. The claimant was then refunded the full purchase price and their postage.
